Egypt’s 10 days Itinerary that has been the favorite for travelers for a very long time.

Cairo, the capital of Egypt, is where you start your journey. This is where you will witness Islamic Old Cairo, Egyptian Museum, the Old Bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, and more.

You will see the magnificent Pyramids, Sphinx, and other Historical Monuments that are unlike anything else in the whole World.

Then, you will stay on board a 5 star deluxe Nile Cruise, which is a floating hotel (Including Sonesta, Movenpick, Steigenberger, and more), that will sail from Luxor to Aswan. This is where you will really feel like you travelled thousands of years back in time. You will learn about the Pharaonic History, the Tombs of the Old Egyptian Kings and Queens, and the Temples of Ancient Egypt.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Egypt, our representative will meet and assist you at the airport, getting Egypt’s entry visa, going through customs and luggage pickup, then escort you to the vehicle for your way to the hotel.

Day 2Pyramids Tour

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel, get you and  to visit the great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and Solar Boat and enjoy Camel ride in the Pyramid desert, the most famous monuments of Egypt and whole world. After that our guide will take you to the Egyptian museum you will enjoy the treasure of King Tutankhamun

Pharaoh and many artifacts, then have lunch at a local restaurant after that back to your hotel.

Day 3Tour to Islamic Cairo

After breakfast you will start your Islamic Cairo trip with our tour guide to the Citadel of Salah Eldin, the Mosques of Muhammad Ali, Al-Rifa’i, Sultan Hassan, and the mosque of Ibn Qalaoun and Khan El Khalili.

After that, you will have lunch before going back to the hotel.

Day 4Nile Cruise - Starting from Luxor - East Bank

After breakfast, you will check out early, then our vehicle will transfer you to Cairo airport to get on board the flight to Luxor.

Upon landing in Luxor Airport, you will meet our representative there to meet and assist you with airport procedures, then transfer to the selected nile cruiser and check-in.

Then you will start the first excursion included in the Nile cruise’s itinerary by visiting the East bank of Luxor where you will see the Luxor temple and the Karnak temple of God Amun (the major God of the ancient capital of Egypt). The Karnak temple is considered the largest temple on Earth, and believed to have been built over a span of 2000 years and the largest religious building ever constructed.

After this tour, you will be escorted back to the cruiser for Lunch and enjoy the rest of the evening using the cruiser’s facilities.

Day 5Nile Cruise - Luxor's West Bank

A new day on the Nile Cruiser and your first day to have breakfast on board.

It’s time to visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at the west bank of Luxor then visit the tombs of the nobles that’s distinguished by its beautiful colors.

After that, you will visit the famous Valley of the kings and learn about the best reserved tombs of the ancient kings of Egypt.

Then stop by the statues of Memnon before heading to lunch on board the cruise. 

Day 6Nile Cruise - Aswan - Kom Ombo

The cruise will sail towards Edfu after passing the lock of Esna, you will visit the best preserved temple of God Horus, then back to the cruise before sailing again towards the magnificent Kom Ombo Temple and the Crocodile Temple and enjoy looking at the very well preserved inscriptions and ancient texts on the walls of these very old, yet elegantly built temples.

Transfer back to the Nile Cruise.

 

Day 7Nile Cruise - Aswan

Start your tour in Aswan by going to the Ancient Island of Philae “the island of time” and visit the Temples of Philae including the temple of Goddess Isis, the Goddess of Love and beauty.

After that, you will be back to the Nile cruise for Lunch.

To be saved during building the Aswan Dam in the 1960’s, a rescue mission by the UNESCO helped move the temples block by block from where they were originally located to another island. (you will still find the numbers carved on the blocks to help with the process). 

Day 8End of Nile Cruise

Today you will have breakfast on board the Nile Cruise, then meet our representative to drive you to Aswan’s Airport to get on board the flight back to Cairo.

Check-in at the Hotel in Cairo.

Day 9Cairo

In the bustling city of Cairo, there are many things to do. You can select one of our optional recommended tours/activities or simply have a free open day to go shopping or relax at the hotel after the long recent visits.

Day 10Departure

Check-out at the Hotel, and meet our representative and driver to get you to Cairo’s Airport for your final departure.
